Looking at how Harry Potter was branded and franchised to be one of the most recognisable in the world helped us decide as a group that we needed all products for Purple Tilt to resemble each other. The main feature we notice of the Harry Potter brand (other than the actors) was the title typography (which doubled as a type of logo) that was displayed on every ancillary text and was a prominent feature of the trailer.
We took note of these findings and replicated the idea that we are not just making an individual trailer, website and poster but that we are also promoting a brand as we want them all to be obviously recognisable as the same film.
